Hi there! I'd like to offer you a few tips that I work with my clients/students to develop: Read with an intention. Take titles seriously--see how they apply and be thinking about that while you wade through the information. Also, underline terms/words, look them up, make notes in the margins. Then, read that passage through again and see how it clicks together for you or if there are still gaps in your understanding. The main thing is to give yourself time with text, any kind of text. Give yourself time to dive into it properly. Comb through it carefully and take meaningful notes along the way. If the exploratory work you do is deep, then you have a relationship to/with and an opinion about what you're reading. Relationship and opinion attach themselves to memory. I hope that helps. All the best!
How do I improve my critical reading and my reading comprehension skills as a university student?
