No. If you're talking about a spit take? Where someone spits water out when another person says something funny....then occasionally they spit. Otherwise spitting might be accidental when people are energetic and talking, but if you see a character spit on someone else in the movie...that was written into the script. And the actors are laughing and cracking up about in between each take. Imagine if you were told it was alright to spit on your best friend......and yes, almost every show or movie you see, the actors are all friends. Very rarely is there an actual disagreement, film sets are like camp. They happen with that cast very rarely and so you enjoy the people while you can. And go your separate ways after the movie is over. Spitting or not, that's just something that happens in a normal day when you're an actor.
