If a college student who was diagnosed with hyperlexia is still struggling in reading comprehension, what would you advice or recommend to him/her?

In my remedial Reading class at the High School level I have used the Lindamood Bell Visualization and Verbalization program with students with comprehension issues. It has worked. Students were able to visualize what they were reading with guided questioning. They were also able to verbalize what they were picturing in great detail.
