I am to understand you correctly, what you are asking is how does a reader analyze content that is being conveyed by the author. As a reader, you would want to analyze and assess the message that the author is trying to convey, keeping in mind all of the clues that are being provided within the story, as the story unfolds. As the writer tries to hold a captive audience, it is our task to recognize the setting, the images, sights, sounds and smells that the author skillful describes in his or her story. The reader should pay special attention to the tone of the characters in the story, take notice of the figurative and descriptive language that is being utilized in the literary work. The reader should also be aware if the story is currently taking place or acknowledge that the story took place (occurred a long time ago) in the past. Inevitably, the reader should be able to recall the circumstances that led to the outcome of the story.

I’m sorry, I’m not sure I understand the question. Are you asking how to interpret the content you read, or something else? Can you give a little more information, and maybe an example? Thanks04/25/19
