The "best" study methods depend on the subject matter, the type of exam, and the individual student. From my years of teaching students to develop more effective study strategies, I've learned that there's no such thing as "the best way" or "the right way"--students need to practice different methods and tools, and discover what works best for them.
However, there is definitely a WRONG way to study, and that's by simply reading and rereading material and trusting that you can memorize content. Our brains just don't learn this way. You need to study ACTIVELY. There are MANY ways of doing this.
If you'd like to share more details with me, I'd be happy to work with you to help you improve your study skills and do better on your exams, essays, and so forth. I hope to hear from you!
