Describe all corrections as clearly and unambiguously as possible?

I have a paper that will be published. The editor sent me an email to return corrections.The requirement:> Please follow one of the following two options for returning proof corrections:1) Open and print the PDF, review the article, and send a list of corrections in an email to the Proofreader. Please note page number, column, and line with each correction. Describe all corrections as clearly and unambiguously as possible.My mother language is not English, I don't know how to describe the corrections. For example, for a sentence, I delete the first three words and add two words in the middle. The sentence is located at line 15 of paragraph 3 etc.Can you give me an example and show me how to describe the action?Thanks

Let's say this is the first sentence you have a correction for in the paper, and it falls on page 2, column 3, line 15 and is as follows:

The dog and the cat went to the grocery store to get some milk and cheese.

Your email with the corrections would read something like:

Please find my corrections listed below:

1. Page 2, column 3, line 15: Change 'The dog and the cat went to the grocery store to get some milk and cheese.' to 'The dog went to the grocery store to get milk, cheese, and bread.'
2. And so on....with any correction.

I always find it better to be extremely clear in communicating exactly what you want changed.
