I've always been an avid reader, and enjoyed writing.
Look at the parentheses as a tool that is used as a means of saying, "oh, and by the way", or "here's little more detail for you". The parantheses gives you the ability to add an afterthought or explanation within a sentence or paragraph but that afterthought or explanation must be grammatcially correct without the parentheses as well. In regards to keeping track of them, just do your best to infer the relevance of that which is in the parentheses. I hope this helps.
