Comprehending complex sentence structure?

When I read articles from New York Time and other popular news sources I have no trouble understanding the articles. Recently I was suggested about this website aldaily.com. The articles I see here seem to have lot of complex structures. I understand if I continue reading from this website I will get used to it. I am wondering if there are any other drills or excersises I could follow that will help me develop these skills?

Look on line under "sentence structure. There are many opportunities for learning how to decipher sentences.

Reading different articles without directly resolving a problem won't help. Also, read the title of the article. Anticipate what the article will be about. Look up unknown vocabulary words. Try and relate the article to any personal experiences.
