Of Mice and Men Essay Sentence Question

The complex relationship between Lennie, a very strong yet well-intentioned companion, and George, a considerate and caring guardian blossoms as readers explore the first-hand experience of migrant workers through the perspective of Steinbeck.

 

This is my sentence. I just need to know how commas/colons/whatever should be used because I'm assuming I wrote it incorrectly.

Hi John! Not sure if you still need help with this, but just in case: I would add a comma after "caring guardian". I would also change the ending of the sentence slightly: 

 

The complex relationship between Lennie, a very strong yet well-intentioned companion, and George, a considerate and caring guardian, blossoms as Steinbeck provides a lens for readers to explore the migrant worker experience.
