What is the oddball answer out of laggardly, dilatory, sluggish, moribund, dawdling?

I thought the answer was moribund but now im not sure. Please help.

Moribund is the answer. It means close to death. Notice the root "mor" which also occurs in mortal.

The other words all mean moving very slowly.

I would agree with you. All the others refer to slow moving. Moribund is declineing to death!
