Is it correct to say ... (English grammar question)

I need to write a description for a game and my English is not very good, so could you tell me please if it is correct to say: "tap on the left balls of the matching color with balls in the upper row" ? The idea of the game is that there are 2 horizontal and 2 vertical rows of balls of different colors and you need to tap on the balls of the left vertical row which color is in the upper horizontal row...

You could say...

Tap on the left column to match the color of the balls with the row above...

When we are referring to a "vertical row" we would say a column, and horizontal we would say a row.

So, vertical= column; horizontal= row
