The passive voice of this sentence is : Home was reached by him. If the focus of the story is about the home, then it is necessary to switch to passive voice. In poetry, or fiction novels, for example, the literary device personification, gives objects a human nature. In this case the home, becomes the subject instead of the man. The home, I believe, is more meaningful to the writer.

According to me As reach is an intransitive verb so its passive voice is not possible. As in the case of "go, sleep, sit and die", their passive voice is not possible. Moreover, if we have full intention to make its passive voice forcefully, we can make it as "Home was reached by him" And which is not corre ct.....04/11/21
