Explain how energy conservation can help with decreasing air, water and land pollution. This is an essay question. This is my answer.

 

Answer: Energy conservation can help with decreasing air, water, and land pollution because of the different alternatives we have for energy. We have solar power energy that is a renewable source. Solar power energy doesn’t pollute the air that we breathe or emit any greenhouse gases while producing electricity. You also have tidal energy that converts waves into clean, pollution-free electricity. This keeps the water from being polluted.

This question is kind of old, but I hope this will help someone...

When you are writing an answer, be sure you are answering the correct question. In this example, the question was how energy conservation will help, but the paragraph mainly answered how it can be implemented. The answer to how it will help is in there later in the paragraph, but it isn't the focus, and it isn't likely to be the thing the reader remembers a few minutes later when they are writing the grades.

From a scientific perspective, everything in this answer is true, so nice job with that! However, I would recommend organizing this answer differently for the greatest effect. The first thing you write as an answer should be a direct answer to the prompt. After that, you can explain why your answer is true, giving support with other things you've learned in class.
