Roberto will save 1/6 of his allowance each day. If he gets $2.00 a day, about how much money will he save each day? Round your answer to the nearest penny.

We first have to convert the $2.00 into cents , so he gets 200 cents daily.

 

1/6th of 200 cents is 33.33 cents

 

Since you have to round to the nearest penny (same as 1 cent), your answer would be 33 cents
