For this, I'd answer True. Stradlater, as much as Holden complains about him, is very much a well-liked student. He's popular, has friends, and is relatively good-looking based on Holden's descriptions. Holden finds Stradlater to be annoying and phony, but it's more because while they're friends, Holden is also jealous of Stradlater and the ease with which he can relate to others. Holden, throughout the novel, refers to anyone who acts this way as "phony" because he feels that it's insincere, but it's also a tool for him to deflect how he's really feeling and continually show his indignant attitude towards everyone else.
