It is definitely possible to study for a "gifted and talented" test by familiarizing the student with the types of questions they may encounter on the test. Your student's school may have your child take the CoGat, the Torrance Test of Creative Thinking (TTCT), the NNAT3 or a myriad of other tests to determine the student's gifted and talented status and determine future services. Studying for these tests could include not only familiarizing the student with the types of questions on the test, but also strategies for time management, and giving the student confidence for testing day.
