The delivery of one's rehearsed communication is both oral and nonverbal. The rhetor uses both spoken language and nonverbal nonverbal elements: verbal factors, including the spoken elements, vocalics, tone, volume of speech, pitch, intonation. Nonverbal factors include eye contact, posture, colorful clothes or designer clothes, the formality of costumes, including jewelry, one's comportment or carriage, one's hairstyle, grooming, texture of material, and fashion. How does one plan to impress the audience? Practice your presentation. Know your key points. Ask friends or family member to evaluate your delivery. Know your audience. All good work requires practice, planning, and research.
