asked 04/30/24In-Text/ Parenthetical Citation confusion
What would my parenthetical citation look like if my excerpt was from the end of page 129 to the start of page 130?
Example book: The Outsiders by S.E Hinton
My guess: (Hinton 129-130)
Is this grammatically correct or is there another answer?

Yes, this is the correct way to cite if you are using MLA style! If you were to be using APA style, which I'm not sure why you'd be for a literature citation like The Outsiders, but in case you needed to know, the APA style would be:
(Hinton, 1967, p. 129-130)
