I'm not sure if you are asking a question here, but as I've been practicing some math stuff I decided to tease this problem out a little bit.

Typically, this is handled by isolating (solving for) the Y variable - Y = mx + b

So after rearranging, we have 3y = 4x - 9

Divide by 3 on both sides to get rid of the left side

y = 4/3x - 3

Now to figure out the Y intercept, use 0 for X to state that y = -3

Or to state another way, the Y intercept can be found at (0,-3).
