How do you "see" yourself through your drawing?

I "see" what the line can do, create, and express through drawing using, pencils, charcoal, colored markers, and even pieces of nature that can make marks to express your individuality.

I "see" myself in my drawings and paintings through my mark making, choice of subject matter, and color palette. These choices we make as artists reflect our individuality. When choosing a subject, I let the motif reveal it's characteristics to me through my use of the medium and the marks made on the paper or canvas.

Letting yourself go and trying to please yourself rather than future viewers is the core of achieving this.

Practice and ability are how you can let this come out more often and with more passion.
