How do I improve in my math class?

The biggest thing that many students overlook in math class is how to study properly for a test or quiz. It's more than just looking through your notes. I can show you how to make a comprehensive study guide that will help you on your test to remember procedures and facts easily. Also, you should analyze your tests once you receive them back and try to identify the errors and why you made each. This will also help you to know how to improve. With math, as you have probably heard, you must practice to become perfect. You should put in at least 2 hours per credit hour per week, so for a typical three-credit math course, that's at least 6 hours a week. Also, you should focus on taking great notes during class. Ask your instructor if you can record him/her. I have tons of tips like this that can really help you to improve significantly!!!

Understanding the concept, if you understand the formulas and their purpose you should be fine. Patience, you will not learn immediately, but I am an engineering major I can tell you I HATE MATH. However, I have learned the key to master it is just going over it and over until you grasp the concept. No matter the approach you take.
