Need help for my essay

hi i am an international student but my english isn't that good and I need help for my essay. this is the topic that teacher want from me.

Create a thesis statement using the formula Topic + Opinion + 3 reasons why. Here is an example: In this portfolio, you will be able to identify my process in learning the significance of creating a thesis statement, following directions, and considering my audience through several assignments, as well as my drafts and revisions to WP1 and WP2. 

Body paragraph One : Topic Sentence: 

Example: In the beginning of the semester, I did not realize there was a formula for thesis statement that would help develop my entire essay. 

Evidence that shows your struggle:

Example: For example, in my first draft of WP1, I did not complete the assignment on developing a thesis which left my essay unorganized and without a blueprint of my paper. 

Quote from your paper that demonstrate this struggle: In draft one of WP1 I included multiple ideas. “quote” (Lisk 1). 

Now you create a Topic Sentence:

(Introduce it) Evidence that shows your struggle:

Body paragraph Two: Topic Sentence: In the descriptive essay, WP1, I neglected to read the instructions the were very detailed which led to me failing the assignment altogether. 

Evidence that shows your struggle: For example, my final essay that I turned in was a more of a creative story rather than describing the object through figurative language. In this sentence you can clearly see that I am telling a story rather than showing the reader an object. 

Quote from your paper that demonstrate this struggle: In paragraph two, I stated, “quote” (Lisk 6). 

Now you create a Topic Sentence:

Body paragraph Three Topic sentence: Part of my struggle this semester and throughout my writing career was writing for a specific audience. 

Evidence that shows your struggle: In my first draft of the definition essay, WP2, I assumed that my audience knew the names of the characters within the movie; excluding them in my essay produce confusion for my reader. 

Quote from your paper that demonstrate this struggle: In paragraph three I said, “quote” (Lisk 8).

Hi Stanton,

The format that your professor has given you will be very helpful for you throughout your academic journey. It may seem like it is difficult at first. WIth practice, you will see that it is a good way to organize your thoughts and to present them to others.

I started tutoring as an ESL and citizenship teacher. For a year now, I have also helped college students with essays and foreign graduate school applicants prepare for their entrance exam, the TOEFL.

If you are interested in working together, please let me know what times are convenient for you. I am in California. Generally, I work M-F, 8am-6pm PST. I'm not sure where you are located so I will list a couple times is pacific time. Would you be available tomorrow (Thursday) between 8:00-10:30am PST? I am booked for the rest of the day after 10:30. Friday, I am available 2:30-6:00pm PST.
