Find the article in a database and go to the end of the journal. It has a top line of citation styles. Click on MLA 9th edition, copy and paste. All these are in your library databases. Find the journals on Global issues, and use the cite at the back to convert your citation to whichever style is required.
I do believe your instructor is giving you a lesson on how to find and use academic research sources.
