This is a tricky question. The correct answer likely depends upon which ancient civilization(s) you're being asked to look at. I suspect, however, that the correct answer is "A." All of the others are obviously themes in ancient stories. On the other hand, a great many stories about ancient families deal with family strife, instead of family unity. Think Oedipus, Set and Osiris, Cain and Abel. Unified families do appear in ancient stories, but I don't think that they form as much of a theme as the other answers do.
A word of caution: this answer could heavily depend upon which civilizations you're being asked to look at, and just when "early ancient" is supposed to be. The story of Oedipus that I referred to is from relatively late in the ancient world.

All of these are very common themes in Ancient Stories. Floods appear in a good many stories, but are not nearly as universal as family (insert Fast and Furious joke), creation, or heroic stories. Egypt has no horrible flood stories, but Greeks, Mesopotamians, and Chinese do (for example).
