What does it mean when you have to find the existing economic conditions of a country?

What does it mean when you have to find the existing economic conditions of a country? Can you give some examples? Explain please.

wouldn't imports vs exports, GDP relate to trade? I was confused because I was given two questions to talk about a country, one of them about their existing economic conditions and one about trade related facts.
