Inequality question help meeded!

I am struggling with these question that I am becoming cross eyed I dont understand. I watch khan academy still unsure can someone help me .

Question: write an inequality and graph the zoultio.

You must get a minimum of an 85%

You have a maximum of $30 to spend

You have greater than 5 pair of shoes

You have at least 45 guest coming

You must get a minimum of an 85% means that your score needs to be greater than or equal to 85

You have a maximum of $30 to spend means that the most you can spend is 30

You have greater than 5 pairs of shoes means that you have more than 5 pairs of shoes

You have at least 45 guests coming means that you have 45 or more guests coming.

For inequalities, you can have greater than, less than, greater than or equal to, or less than or equal to. The trick is to remember which way the sign will point. You always want the "open" part of the sign pointing to the bigger number.

For example

if an inequality said x<4, you would read this as "x is greater than 4".

if an inequality said x>7, you would read this as "x is less than 7".
