This isn't exactly a question, but if you are looking to better understand this assignment you first need to find an artist you want to "mimic." You aren't exactly mimicking them but you are going to present yourself in a similar manner.
For example:
Choose an artist: I am going to pick Banksy.
Please note: Banksy does not work for this assignment since he does not have a professional statement as an artist since he is a street artist. This is why I am using him as an example. You need to choose an artist with an artist statement. Look at how they word it. Create something with similar tone but explains you, not the artist you researched.
Social/political change: Banksy has a lot of political pieces and even just recently created a piece for the doctors and nurses during the pandemic.
You will need to find an artist and look at their political pieces and decipher what the artist is trying to convey in these pieces. What is the message they are trying to get across?
Your bio = Your artist statement written in a similar manner as the artist statement of the artist you researched.
Look at the style of their art. Is it street art, pop art, surrealism, hyper-realism, realism, abstract, etc.? now imagine what type of style your art would be. This is yours so you don't need to compare it to the artist you researched. Your instructor probably just wants you to look at artist statements as an example, so you can understand how one should look.
Now create an artwork in the style of art you have chosen for yourself.
Example: If you choose pop art then the piece has to be a pop art style piece.
The package part is basically saying this is your brand as an artist. Being an artist is basically like running your own business. A business sells products and each product has a packaging. In that packaging it gives a brief description of the product. This is the same for art except you are describing the art and who you are as an artist. Another example is the description of an author in the back of a book. This is the same as an artist statement but for the literature field.
