Hi Tristyn! The story ultimately needs to come from you, but I can make some suggestions.
First off, there's COVID, which is a big story element on its own. Think about your own experience living with COVID and stories you've heard from other people about the pandemic. People can't go to the gym or parties with balloons like they used to. Sometimes people will speak in euphemisms to describe the effects of the virus. There's a lot that can be done with each word regarding this topic.
You could also use COVID as just a backdrop for the story, focusing on one character and their own life in this world.
I hope this helps!
