Hello!
Your Works Cited Page is a page dedicated for sources you used to support your writing. In order to avoid plagiarizing, you need to cite your sources within your paper. At the end of your paper, you must include a Works Cited Page that tells the readers where you found your information. This is especially important to prove the reliability of your sources. The Purdue Owl Writing Lab can go into more detail on how to format your works cited page.
As for a hook or an attention getter, I suggest starting with a question or a shocking fact that pulls the readers in. You can be creative with how you want to engage your reader. Additionally, there are many resources available for you on the internet that can better support you as you craft an effective introduction. Hope this helps! Good luck!

A works cited page should be the last page of your essay. It has a specific format -- usually APA or MLA (Purdue owl is a great source to help you out!) and it should be used for every source you used for research, quotes, etc. to put your essay together.
A "hook" is what is also known as a thesis statement -- this is one or two sentences, always in the first paragraph of your essay that sums up what your essay is going to argue.

Absolutely NOT!
A works cited page is a list of sources you use when researching the topic you are writing about. It should be a completely separate page.
Your hook should be a creative way of grabbing the readers attention.
I suggest Googling "works cited format" and "writing an attention grabber" for tips
