I need to create a Haiku that relationates to my class which is is Theatre any Ideas?

Haiku focuses on a moment in time. Here are some ways to inspire yourself, below.

1) Pick a moment from one of your theater classes or performances. (Examples.: a warmup exercise, waiting back stage for your entrance, looking in the mirror while putting on your character's makeup, singing a song in the chorus, falling down by accident, bright lights in your eyes, etc)

2) Describe the moment in short lines. What do you see or hear? What thoughts go through your mind?

3) Change or delete words to make the required syllables (five, seven, five)

Read it out loud and enjoy remembering your moment in theater!

A Haiku is a Japanese poem that has 3 lines: the first line has 5 syllables, the second has 7 syllables and the 3rd has 5 syllables. It does not usually rhyme.

Therefore, what you need to do is:

1. Come up with 3 things about your Theatra class. For example, answer the following 3 questions: What do you do during this class? When do have this class or how often? Where is the class located or what do the surroundings look like when you are there?
2. Write down your answers, each on a different line.
3. Count the syllables that are in each line.
4. Modify or change the wording to make it the correct amount of syllables.
5. That's it! You're did it!
