Hello Marlenny. I assume the vector you are trying to find is vector AB, which means you are sketching a vector that goes from (-3,4) to (2,8). If you break it apart into its x and y components, the x coordinate goes from -3 to 2, which is an increase of positive 5. Similarly the y component goes from from 4 to 8, which is an increase of 4. So vector AB really is just vector <5,4>. To sketch this vector in standard form would mean to draw it from the point (0,0) (the origin) to the point that is over 5 horizontally and up 4 vertically (or in other words, to the point (5,4)).
I hope that answers your question Marlenny. Have a wonderful day!
