Janet knew exactly what she wanted for her birthday, and it wasn’t going to be something from the big and hectic mall in the city. She had asked her parents for a tree house ages ago, and just when she thought she was never getting it, she was pleasantly surprised when her dad finally acceded, and built her one just two weeks before her birthday. She was so excited, because she planned to have a sleepover with her best friend, in her ostensible tree house, that was lodged right in the front of her yard for everyone to see.
