An object experiences a 8.1 N force and accelerates 8.7 m/sec2. What is the object's mass?
Applying Newton's second law F=m•a
rearranging m = F/a
= 8.1kgm/s2÷8.7m/s2
= 0.93kg. (m/s2 cancels out)
