Can you teach any art medium?

I would be glad to tutor in any two-dimensional art medium including drawing, painting, crafts, collage, or any combination. I can also tutor with any range of these mediums, so anything from graphite to charcoal to chalk or acrylic paint to watercolor to oil, I am pretty open to it all!

I will say that I do not consider three-dimensional art or art history my strong suites, but I am open and willing to try to assist if needed!

I can teach drawing, and painting to all ages. this means I can teach with charcoal, pencil, pastels, watercolor, and acrylic. :)

I actually can!

At first, I started off with the basics, charcoal, pencil, still-life. The amazing thing about this is that it allows you to see the world in a different way. After this, I taught myself how to paint, and how to see colors for what they are. My true passion is actually ceramics. I think photography might have been the most difficult especially fine art photography. Once you have an eye for color, shapes, and an appreciation of details, you can do anything.

I focus on graphite pencil drawing, colored pencil drawing, acrylic painting, and watercolor painting. I can teach pastels, sculpture, collage, block printing, and more. Typically I work with students with one art medium at a time to build a strong foundation and then move on to another medium. One helps reinforce and inform the other. So even if you want to be a painter, it's very helpful to have a strong foundation in drawing, and also in colored pencil drawing. Hope this helps and happy to help you in your artistic journey.

No,I do not, and will not teach any art medium. What I will do is teach the mediums that I have studied and are most familiar with. I will teach to my strengths. For me those areas are drawing, painting, and specific areas of art history. I think that this strategy is one that any good art teacher would use.
