I'm not sure if I need more information on what this actually was testing. However, I do know that this is the result of gel electrophoresis of PCR DNA. I believe the picture of the kDA ladder (multicolored dashes) is used to compare to the first image. This ladder is used to measure the experimental DNA bands you have on the first image. The numbers next to the ladder bands are how long the DNA segment is in base pairs (bp). Aligning this ladder with your first image should allow you to see how many base pairs was in your experimental DNA.
The color peaks is simply showing what nucleotides appeared in sequence. Green peaks mean nitrogenous base A, black is G, red is T, and blue is C. The numbers under the base letters is numbering the base in sequence. For example, the 480 would mean the C above that number is the 480th base in the sequence.
I hope this helps, I'm not entirely sure what the experiment was testing.
