I'm not quite sure what you're looking for in terms of help here, but perhaps I can help clarify what I think your teacher might be looking for.

First, "voice" is the sense of personality or character that we get through the word choices and sentence rhythms of an individual (or an external narrator). Think about people you know and how they talk. Each one has a different way of communicating things. If three of your friends told the same story, each would do it differently. That's "voice."

Divergent is written in first person: Tris herself is telling her story. So in the original, the "narrator's voice" is hers. However, different characters would have different ways of expressing themselves, unique to their own personalities. I think what your teacher is after is for you to select a different character--maybe Tobias--and write a brief scene using his voice. How would he describe the same events? Think about how his use of words would convey his personality, and try to narrate the event as he would.

Another, possibly harder, choice would be to use third person--as if the narrator is outside the story, telling what happened to other people--but try to convey something about the overall world through choices of words and rhythm of sentences that reflect who the world feels.
