Caffeine/coffee is not good for animals because it affects their neurological system much more than it does the human body.Cool coffee given diluted to house plants every so often can act as a good natural fertilizer. It can also be added to compost. However, it is acidic so doing so can lower natural soil pH and reduce the plants optimal growth.
