To be, infinitive verb and is translated as "Etre". Example: To be bold. "Etre brave"

To not be "N'être" or "Ne pas être" Example: To not be bold. Ne pas etre brave.

Both "To be" and "Being" (Its gerund) are translated is french as "Etre" (Infinitive verb)
