まま would be correct in many cases. It means something is remaining in the current state. When using a verb besides する after it, it's common to use で to bring the phrases together. You can also use a variety of other strategies:
Please, leave it as it is. - そのままでいいんです（けど…）(It is good with it like that)
TE+verb of giving: Please leave the door open, thanks! - ドアを開けたままにしていただけませんか・もらえませんか・くれませんか 。ありがとう。(Doing for me as to leaving the doors opened. Thank you!)
TE+OKU means performing an action in advance as a preparation for something in the future. Your can use this if you're planning to use something in the future while it's in the current state.
Could you please keep the lift's doors open? Thank you. - エレベーターのドアを開けておいていただけませんか・もらえませんか・くれませんか 。ありがとう。(Do for me putting the elevator doors open and leaving them like that <as they will need to remain so for a future action/situation>)
