What is a sequence/series poem?

I was given a prompt to write a sequence/series poem by my poetry teacher but she didn't explain it. What are the parameters of this type of poem? I can find anything on google.

A sequence poem is one in which some aspect of the poem is in "sequence"...such as: 1. each line may begin with a sequence of the letters of the alphabet; 2, each line may increase by one syllable; 3. lines may have a mathematical sequence to them, 4. each line may begin with the sequence of letters found in the title, etc. You could create a poem based upon the sequence of letters found in your name.
