I know the answers are 37 cups for decaf and 74 cups for regular. Just don't know how to get those answers.

During the morning rush, a coffee shop sold half as many cups of decaf coffee as cups of regular coffee. If they sold a total of 111 cups of coffee, how many were decaf and how many were regular? Solve by using the five step method

2c represents the number of decaf
 
c + 2c = 111
