A new field in Psychology?

I'm researching a paper and need information.

I recently came across a newly discovered sub-field of Psychology which involved the fact that certain stimulants (sounds, sights, smells -literally anything) can illicit very specific responses (ranging from recalling memories to physical sensations) in people.

Unfortunately I didn't get the name of this new field of psychology.

Do you know anything?

Just about any stimulus can be conditioned to elicit specific responses.  Recalling memories based on a smell has been discovered years ago in psychology.    It sounds like your question is condition stimuli and conditioned responses.  Or you could be referring to Behavioral Neuroscience.
