I think you've got your terms slightly mixed up. Implicit means understood but not stated. Related to implied. Explicit means stated or shown directly. So unless your class is using the term in a very specific way, an implicit act of violence might be something like in the original Star Wars when Han and Luke find two stormtroopers, and in the next shot are wearing their uniforms. We the audience understand that they knocked the guards out, but we didn't actually see it happen. An explicit act of violence would be, say, in the bar scene when Han shoots Greedo.
Apologies if you're not a Star Wars fan, but you get the idea anyway. What are you actually reading?
