What is the difference between an explicit act of violence and an implicit act of violence?

The question is how does implicit acts of violence challenge our morality vs explicit acts of violence and i dont fully understand if its asking indirect acts of violence of inderect desriptions of acts of violence as well as direct. Becuase i know that implicit is direct and explicit is indirect. 

 

So basically what is an implicit act of violence vs an explicit act of violence

I think you've got your terms slightly mixed up. Implicit means understood but not stated. Related to implied. Explicit means stated or shown directly. So unless your class is using the term in a very specific way, an implicit act of violence might be something like in the original Star Wars when Han and Luke find two stormtroopers, and in the next shot are wearing their uniforms. We the audience understand that they knocked the guards out, but we didn't actually see it happen. An explicit act of violence would be, say, in the bar scene when Han shoots Greedo.
