Example of Huck Finn conforming?

I am writing an essay about how Huck Finn changes based on different societal influences and I need examples of him growing vs conforming.

I found multiple examples of him growing morally towards the end of the book (ex: when he feels bad about stealing money from the girl with the duke and dauphin; when he decides to help jim instead of writing to his owner etc).

I just can't think of any concrete evidence when he is conforming. Please help! I need something concrete to contrast with his growth towards the end as I am arguing that he grows morally throughout the novel (especially surrounding his views of Jim).

Thanks!

Would the beginning of the novel be a good example? When the Widow wants Huck to be civilized, and he learns to like school and all the facets of her life. Then as soon as his dad takes him to the cabin in the woods, he learns to like that lifestyle as well? I could say that it shows he still has the mindset of a child in that he wants to please all of the people around him etc?
