Please help me with the following mathematical questions.

Question

1) I did time=distance/speed. my sum was 170/35=time. My answer was 4.85714. How do i show that in hours and the nearest minute?

 

2) Again, i used the same formula for another question and received the answer 0.100008. How do i show that to the nearest minute?

It's hard to know what your questions was, but you have to be careful and look at the rate. if the rate is miles per hour, then your time unit is hours. If your rate was feet per second, then your time is in seconds. 

 

So for number 1, you got 4.8714 what?....Ill assume hours. So since 1 hour = 60 minutes, multiply bith sides by 4.8714 and you get 4.8714 hours =292.284 minutes.
