What would be the correct graph of the solution to the inequality -13 > -5 + 2 > -28

There is a list of graphs and i thought I got my answer right but none of the answers match. I thought the answer was -3 > x > -6. Is that wrong or is there something wrong with the question????

Is there an "X" in the problem somewhere?  You have -13 > -5 + 2 > -28.

 

If the x is by the -5, then we have -13 > -5x + 2 > -28

Like regular algebra:  subtract two from both sides

 

-13 - 2 > -5x + 2 - 2 > -28 - 2

-15 > -5x > -30

 

Now, divided by -5 (REMEMBER WHEN YOU DIVIDED BY NEGATIVE, THE > SIGN CHANGES TO <)

 

3 < X < 6

 

Correct graph would be a unfilled circle on the x = 3 line and would be a solid line to the number x = 6.  at the X = 6, there would be another unfilled circle (meaning NOT EQUAL TO).
