I am filled with tranquility as I breathe in the fragrance of wild jasmine, the aromas of the banquet table, and hear the nostalgic melodies of the poet and see the graceful actors performing their ritual dances, and I listen to bards chanting the rime of lost soldiers and their heroic deeds. But wait. Without peace, spiritual grace, and harmony, art cannot exist.

I claim that Virginia Wolfe got the last laugh when she filled her pockets up with weighed stones, not mere pebbles to commit suicide upon the brink of World War II after her Manic Depression was triggered by the losses of peace that triggers Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. This disease results from the fact that evidence from the a chemical imbalance and the brutal reality of being married to a Jew during Hitler's reign of terror during World War II.

I agree that the times are not auspicious for those people who lead small, quiet lives of decent people of writing poetry, praying for sunflowers, those people who are calm and rational, those people who are heroes of love, light-followers of beauty and harmony who stand up to malfeasants, miscreant, and the greedy wolves, jackals, and harpies of chaos by doing dignified deeds: (if possible) the miracles of kindness with respect for humanity, compassion for the sick, diseased, and poor, the broken hearts of the abandoned, and the bereft siblings of disasters that are natural and not nuclear.

The mark of a poet is the artistic soul enlightened and imbued with creativity, light, and a passionate to see what the beyond the ordinary, unafraid of using the wrong color, size, tone, heaviness, depth, or tincture, and brave enough to explore new runic rimes to express what cannot be undone, uncut, or unresolved, and unannounced.

What do poets, playwrights, philosophical, 18th century Deists or intellectual members of the Enlightenment era have in common? They determined the rationale of pure reason, enlightenment principles that view rational thought as the basis for order, balance, harmony, and a quasi Divinity via a mechanistic modal. Imperfections exist because there are flaws in peoples' mind. Immanuel Kant (a German philosopher who lived 1724--1804) spent his time in Lubeck, Germany (Hanseatic League) lecturing college students and perfecting Kantianism, a philosophy that asserts that knowledge comes a posteriori from sense perception. Nature is the reflection of God, and He represents Divine Order, a category of Natural law, Der Vernunft von Gott.

I read about pop culture and current technocrats, so-called mavins of tik-tock culture, the popular pop/rap/Hollywood-movie stars in custom and the cadre of Los Angeles crowd, enjoying ersatz-culture of Kitsch trifles, as the Ice agents and police chase down illegal immigrants and put terrorists in GITMO.

Teens and performers wearing brand new chic outfits like moon-studded T-shirts and stylishly dyed or torn 501 jeans, these bored and jaded effete cadre of snobs indulge their pretentious appetites upon Sugar Daddies on-line, looking for a good time. The conversation, the vestments of the rich. Our lonely crowd denies the truth that they are lifeless and soul-less mechanical robots of Kitsch.

How does one teacher communicate when he or she cannot see the students' eyes because they are addicted to their cell phones, hunched over, never lifting their heads to pay attention to the teacher. Tic Toc is much more exciting than books. The latest celebrity gossip rag is far better medium than Miss Gray's 6th-grade reading selection. Perhaps, I am too woke because I cry at the horrors of the slaughter and starvation, and mass drones of Russians killing residents of Kiev or their kidnapping of Ukrainian children to re-program them into red army comrades. What does rapper X do to earn a place in the Oval Office? The indecent rhetoric is not worth disputing. He does make fun of cripples, the handicapped, the dark skinned immigrants, the poor, the sick, and the tree-huggers. I am waiting for Godot.

I am alone, isolated from main-stream media, devoid of the Golden Triangle of so-called news or too woke to believe in marzipan realities or that real people who buy beauty products from Hollywood celebrities know what happens to old movie stars in our instant-youth culture, but of the already past-tense, when one is 30. Oh no, a wrinkle oh, no, another gray hair! I better use my credit card and buy more instant lavender purple-scented beauty cream and some formula ebony, jet-black hair dye or bleach my hair blond like the popstars of the 1980s. But what do you chat about if you lack the argot of today because you do not have time to read J. Alfred's Prufrock or Thomas Mann's Magic Mountain? Do must have credit cards to spend your money on consumer goods, going more into debt each day as your motivation is to beat back the normal aging process in order not to appear too old in our world of instant gratification as the ethno-philosopher who wrote Tally's Corner in the 1960s. What would the beauty queens of the 1960s say to getting skin cancer from suntans in the fifties? Is getting rid of today's fads possible in the age of advertisements, in the sacred world of the Hollywood club of get rich now! Buy my sleeping beauty Cream, only $29.99 an ounce!

I found a solution to Mother Nature's reaction to the chaos of war, genocide, the sickness of society's lack of harmony, balance, reason, compassion, grace, empathy, and blessings, and restoration of the creative arts, like music, literature, paintings, and sculpture. This solution to the worldwide disequilibrium is to devour educational pedagogy, to aspire to teach and I signed up for advanced courses: the classics, poetry, and the historical novels popular during the 1970s. I listened avidly to jazz, folk music, and the pop-art media; Because I wanted to be a compassionate, empathetic teacher, I analyzed world literature, paranormal, esoterica, and philosophy. In order to become engaged in environmentally and humanistic matters, I prepared for advanced degrees, like an enthusiastic student of knowledge. I wanted to gain the technique of discernment, of understanding the essence of literature, grammar, writing, rhetoric, linguistics, synthetic phonics, syntax, and semantics. I studied German, French, and Anglo-Saxon. I am not one of the typical mentors, for I have been educated in private, parochial, and untraditional institutional, the wayward product of non-American parents, a Heinz-57 diverse demographics from an atypical generation between 1960s Weltanschauung and to Enlightenment akin Fundamentals of Dick-and-Jane reading series, the handbooks for cursive writing, and ALM language record for German, and catholic doctrine, accompanied by Jesuits theology, and Ben Franklin Autobiography. Now, I am woke, marginalized, and erased.

According to Carl Jung, we all undergo the hero's shadowy, psychic journey when we undergo a spiritual, metaphysical transfiguration, changing from the suffering and unloved damaged child e who learns to please other, becoming a codependent and selfless person when we deny our own needs in the service of others. This altruistic person soon develops into a nag and termagant as he or she sacrifices until they have nothing--resentment and rejects others. This concept of a continual self immolation exponentially huge.

We must accept the travails of life, according to biblical wisdom in Job's lessons; however, there are a plethora of doctrines, axioms, rituals, and traditions that shape or construct the cultural patterns , according to Ruth Benedict, Emile Durkheim, and Margaret Mead. So we have different interpretations of truth, reality, and moral values. So, we have wars, brutal acts of vengeance, and sense-killings, or Chaos.
