Struggling in intro level college Biology courses?

Rebecca U.

Hello, I understand your struggle and have been there! Sometimes a concept is frustrating to learn because you feel like you aren't making any progress. Or no matter what you do, you can't seem to get it straight in your mind. If that is you, take a deep breath, you are doing better than you think you are. You probably already have studied this material once before and it is just a matter of tapping into your prior understanding. Things that help: - Reach out to your professor - Identify 2-3 other students in the class that seem to know the material and try learning from them. - Find a friend you think also needs help. You can practice explaining concepts to them. Verbalizing the information you learn can be helpful! All of these suggestions help change your perspective on material. Don't give up! We are cheering you on and here to help. Send biology questions as needed!
