An incredibly talented and knowledgeable tutor
I took Organic Chemistry 1 and 2 over the summer (2026) with Sarah as my tutor. Throughout our sessions, she has demonstrated a variety of techniques and adaptability to individual student needs. She is incredibly knowledgeable in organic chemistry (among many other fields!) and is able to apply and translate its topics to real world examples, analogies, or any method that helps her students thrive. I ended the first organic chemistry course with an A- and the second course with a B. Aside from her excellent teaching, she has helped me with structure, study skills, accountability sessions, and organization for these courses. She is patient and understanding, knowing how to direct learning that is most beneficial to her students. Sarah was the crucial factor to my success in those courses, and I could not be more grateful for her skill. I strongly recommend Sarah as a tutor, as she will help you excel in your education.

Sara literally plucked me from the throes of organic chemistry, a course being taken on a severely difficult online program. First of all, she was very responsive, willing to help me out with a problem within a few minutes notice when I first contacted her. Secondly but most importantly, she really knows her beans, orgo is on her finger tips, and she has a very fantastic and fun way of giving over the material, that is ANY orgo material, sometimes using great analogies. Additionally, she can dumb down a complex concept in a very short manner. You will not find a more patient tutor, willing to repeat her senetences multiple times until you will fully grasp the concept. Btw, a great way to see if a tutor is really good, don't just trust a 5 star review, everyone has them, but rather look how many lessons were taken by a 5 star reviewer. The only reason I am stopping is because thank god I am done with orgo. You need help with orgo? Don't say I didn't tell you. Don't look anywhere else. :)

Sarah helps a lot by going over lots of questions in her question bank. She has exactly the material you need tailored to what you want help with. She is good at giving consistent reminders if you forget parts of the method (for spectroscopy specifically as well) and for assisting with mastery of content. She is incredible and patient and is always ready to step in when needed to drill in concepts.
