Fill in the blanks with the correct form of the verb in parentheses.
- I went (go) to the cinema last night.
- She studied/has studied (study) English for five years. - If you remove the has, it means she did study for five years, but does not at this time.
- They are playing (play) football in the park right now.
- He finished (finish) his homework before dinner. - You can also say "had finished" but it isn't neccessary. Both are grammatically correct.
- We will travel (travel) to Italy next summer. You can also say both "we are traveling" and "we are going to travel". We are traveling = the trip is already booked and plans are locked in. We are going to travel = it's a plan or intention but not booked.
Hope this helps! Have a great week!
